
The Olowo of Owo Kingdom and Paramount Ruler of Owo Land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Muslims in Owo, Ondo State, and across Nigeria on the successful completion of the 30-day Ramadan fast.
In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Sam Adewale, the revered monarch praised Almighty Allah for granting believers the strength and grace to observe the fast. He emphasized the importance of continued devotion and righteousness, urging adherents of Islam to remain steadfast in their faith.
Oba Ogunoye lauded the peaceful coexistence among different religious groups in Owo Kingdom and encouraged all residents to sustain this harmony for the overall progress of the land. He particularly acknowledged the role of Muslim leaders in fostering peace and development through prayers and community engagement.
“As we celebrate Eid Mubarak, let us not forget to continually pray for the progress of Owo, Ondo State, and Nigeria at large. Our nation needs divine intervention for peace, unity, and prosperity,” the monarch stated.
He called on the faithful to uphold the values of love, tolerance, and sacrifice beyond Ramadan, stressing that their prayers and goodwill are vital to the nation’s growth.
The Olowo concluded his message by praying for Allah’s continued blessings on the Muslim Ummah and the entire nation.
