Ondo City was agog on Thursday, August 28, 2025, as the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, His Majesty Alayeluwa Oba (Dr) Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, hosted dignitaries from across the state and beyond at the wedding of his daughter, Tolulope Adetola, to Samuel Oluwaseyi.The colourful ceremony was graced by the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas and Olowo of Owo, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, who attended in company of his wife, Olori Olanike. Also in attendance were traditional rulers from across Ondo State, adding royal splendour to the occasion.The solemnization of holy matrimony took place at the David & Grace Church of the Ascension, Diocese of Ondo Anglican Communion, Igbo-Oja, Ondo City. The service attracted an impressive roll call of eminent personalities, including the former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, and the Deputy Governor, Olayide Adelami, mni, alongside families, friends, and well-wishers.The atmosphere was filled with joy, reverence, and pageantry as the couple exchanged vows in the presence of their loved ones. Oba Ogunoye’s presence, in particular, added dignity and colour to the occasion, reflecting the enduring bond of friendship and mutual respect between the royal families of Owo and Ondo.The celebration later continued with fanfare as guests joined the Osemawe’s family in marking the joyous union, a moment that blended tradition, royalty, and spirituality in grand style.
