Olupele of Ipele Felicitates Elemure-elect, Prince Adeyefa

The Olupele of Ipele, Oba Samuel Adesanmi Oluwashola Daramola, Ujadiminegha I, has extended warm congratulations to Prince Bankole Adeyefa following his emergence as the new Elemure of Emure-Ile-elect in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

In a message on behalf of the Olupele-in-Council, Oba Daramola described the ascension of Prince Adeyefa as divinely ordained, pointing to the overwhelming support he received from the kingmakers, having secured four out of the five votes cast during the selection process.

“The choice of Prince Adeyefa is a clear reflection of the will of the people and the hand of God guiding the process. We rejoice with the good people of Emure-Ile on this remarkable development,” Oba Daramola said.

The monarch noted that the stool of the Elemure is one of the most revered in Owo Local Government, with a long history of promoting peace, culture, and development in the area. He added that the emergence of a new traditional ruler is not just a milestone for the Emure-Ile community but also a significant moment for the entire Owo Kingdom.

Oba Daramola also prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and direction for the monarch-elect as he prepares to assume the ancestral throne. “May his reign bring unity, progress, and prosperity to Emure-Ile and by extension, Owo land,” he said.

The stool of the Elemure had been vacant following the demise of the former occupant, and expectations had been high among indigenes of the community regarding the choice of a successor. With the emergence of Prince Adeyefa, many observers believe the town is set for renewed cultural pride and socio-economic advancement under his leadership.

The Olupele further called on sons and daughters of Emure-Ile, both at home and in the diaspora, to rally round the new traditional ruler, assuring that collective support will strengthen his capacity to serve the community.
