In a proactive step towards enhancing security in Ipele Kingdom, HRM Oba Samuel Oluwashola Adesanmi Daramola (Ujadiminegha I), the Olupele of Ipele, held a crucial meeting with Oluyemi Joshua Ibiloye, Commandant of the Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The discussions focused on addressing the recent rise in criminal activities within the community and strengthening the local security framework.

During the meeting, Commandant Ibiloye commended the Olupele for his significant role in the recent apprehension of kidnappers operating in the area. He acknowledged the traditional ruler’s commitment to the safety of his people, describing it as exemplary.

The Olupele appealed for enhanced support from the NSCDC, highlighting the urgent need for sustainable measures to tackle the community’s security challenges.

In response, the Commandant assured the Olupele of intensified collaboration and promised to bolster the NSCDC’s presence in Ipele. “We are committed to working closely with the traditional institution to ensure peace and security in the kingdom,” he stated.
