Oil marketers lifting Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from Dangote Petroleum Refinery have reduced the pump price to N939.50 per litre, down from N1,060.

Major marketers, including MRS, have adjusted their pump prices accordingly. A visit to MRS’s Ojota, Lagos, station confirmed the price cut to N939.50 per litre.

This development follows Dangote Refinery’s decision to lower its ex-pump price from N970 to N899.50 per litre. The refinery’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, announced a holiday discount aimed at alleviating transport costs during the festive season.

He stated, “From today, our petrol will be available at N899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or SPM. Additionally, consumers can purchase one litre on credit for every litre bought in cash, supported by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.”

The price reduction is expected to ease the financial burden on Nigerians as they prepare for the holidays.
